PROTEIN BANANA OAT CAKE
Being fit does not mean that you have to compromise on delicious sweet foods. Try this banana bread which contains the health benefits of nutrition rich bananas. This is something you can’t only eat for snack but you can start your day off with it by making it for breakfast. Many of us have a sweet tooth and we don’t need to ignore it for keeping fit.
Ingredients
- 170g oat flour
- 2 scoops pro-level protein (Grass Fed New Zealand Whey Isolate (Vanilla))1 tbsp of baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 10g sugar substitute
- 12 tbsp cinnamon
- 50g raisins
- 1 whole egg
- 150ml water
- 1 large banana
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Mix the oat flour, protein supplement, baking powder, salt, sugar, cinnamon and raisins in bowl. Mix water, eggs and banana in a food processor and blend for a few seconds. Next, add the dry ingredients to the food processor as well and blend everything together until you get a thick pancake mixture. Grease bread tin and pour the mixture evenly into it. Bake for about 40 to 50 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes after removing from the oven.
